Siddhi Desai was like any other playful girl – till she lost her eyesight at the age of six. Though it did change her life, it did not deter her from the path of academics. With the tireless support of her mother Susmita Desai, Siddhi continued to study and excel, overcoming her disability with the strength and maturity rarely found in one so young. Along the way, she did not forget to enjoy all the aspects of a rich and happy life. Others found that strength in a book on her life, penned by author Vrinda Bhargave.
