The book that made people stop and take notice, ‘To the Last Bullet’ raised several unanswered questions about the fateful night of 26/11, when terrorists took Mumbai hostage. The book tells readers about the experiences and life of Police Officer Ashok Kamte, who chose to put duty before personal safety. Written by Vinita Kamte with the help of journalist Vinita Deshmukh, the book created ripples all over. The book was released at the hands of Julio Ribero, one of the most respected and well known Police officers the country has ever seen. The guests of honour included Police Commissioner Dr. Shivanandan and RTI activist Aruna Roy.
